Hosts and Assistants

This page is to introduce you to the Hosts and Assistant Hosts that help run our Chat Room.

All our Hosts and Assistant Hosts are either fellow anxiety sufferers or have recovered from anxiety disorders themselves, so they are very empathic and knowledgeable about anxiety disorders.

It must be said however that none of them are trained professional therapists, but fellow sufferers like yourself and although they can offer you a lot of help and support they are not qualified to give medical advice.

Our Chat Room first started over 7yrs ago on the About.com server. Sadly the Chat Room on that server closed in March 2004, which was when we migrated to our current server. A number of the Hosts from the About.com site still Host in our Chat Room.

At the moment we have 16 Hosts and Assistant Hosts and we try to keep the room Moderated as much as we can.

Below you will find a list of all our current Chat Room Hosts and a little bit about them.

DV and Lyn are the owners of AnxietyPanicSupport.com. Both were Hosts on the old About.com site.

Hosts

DVHOST lives in Manitoba, Canada, with her 2 daughters (Kayla and Emma) and Husband Peter. She currently works as a Level 3 Para Professional but on Maternity leave until Sept. 2009.

LynHOST lives in South East England with her fiancé, Labrador dog and Conure parrot. She has one adult married son and a wonderful granddaughter named Charlotte.

ChiHOST lives in Illinois, USA. He is married with three adult children, 5 grandsons and 1 granddaughter (The Princess). He also has a spoiled cockatiel named Earl.

MissNikkiHOST is from Australia has 3 cats Bronte, Felix and Teddy. Is she the crazy cat lady? She also has her beautiful niece, Kara.

TrapperJonHOST lives in California, USA. He has two cats and one dog and some fish.

TinaHOST lives in South Carolina, USA with two wonderful children common law married for 12 years to a wonderful man.

Hav0kHOST lives in Pennsylvania, USA with her 18 yr old son (soon to be an empty nester)! She works for a technology company, and in her spare time, she works even more hours for the technology company

DuckenHOST lives in the great state of Ohio, USA. He is married, has four children and a couple of dogs.

SherylHOST lives in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, with her boyfriend Trevor, and her lovable mutt of a dog Parker. She has a wacked out sense of humor, but can be serious when she need to be.

ClaireHOST lives in Kent, South East England with her 20 year old son, a dog named Sam and her cat Wellington.

AngelBabyHOST lives in California USA. She is married and has 3 children. She also has enough animals for a zoo.

HandyHost lives in Maine USA, and has a dog and 2 cats. He fixes lots of things at home, and for others too. He has played guitar since 1982.

TBabyHost lives in Connecticut, USA. She teaches children with special needs and enjoys every minute of it!!!

NutrieHOST lives in Florida, USA. She is married and no kids (as of now). She is a Registered Dietitian and loves to help people with any nutrition/diet questions they may have. NutrieHost has three adorable pets- a beagle, cat, and turtle.

SherHOST lives in Kansas, USA. She is married and has 2 beautiful daughters. Sher works in real estate and also farms. She has tons of cows and a chocolate lab that has become the son she'll never have.

Assistant Hosts

NicholeAssistant is from Wyoming. She is married with 4 children , she is a stay at home mom and loves it . Nichole also has 3 pugs that are loved dearly.

Administrators

We also have Administrators who manage the EWC website which hosts our chat room. They visit our room regularly and help to keep it safe.

Helen lives in the West Country, UK, and works as a Sales Administrator. She is married to Steve (Satyr) and between them they have three children

j lives in the West Midlands, UK with his wife and he owns everywherechat.com. He is a third level technician, and programmer.

Anne is from Sussex/England, works as a foreign language teacher at a college for adult education in Germany, south of Frankfurt/Main.

As they are often in a number of other rooms, as part of their Admin duties, they may not appear to chat as much as other members in the room.
